Avtonom Territoriali Bölümlüü Gagauziya
Gagauzia is an autonomous region in the Republic of Moldova, inhabited mainly by the Gagauz ethnic group. This region has a unique cultural identity and is known for its Gagauz language, which belongs to the Oghuz branch of Turkic languages. The Gagauz people are known for their traditions, including folklore, music, dance and cuisine.
The history of Gagauzia is marked by its Turkic and Slavic past and its long period under Ottoman rule. The Gagauz people are known for their strong attachment to their traditions and their Orthodox Christian religion, which plays an important role in their cultural life.
